Description: A large predatory fish that has deep red striping. They are found on reefs in the wild and are known to be nocturnal. Their unique big eyes help them to see their prey in the wild. A great and easy fish for larger fish only tanks. They need to be fed larger foods, as they have large mouths due to their predatory nature. They will eat just about anything that they can fit in their mouth, so use caution if you have smaller fish. Be sure to give them lots of open water to swim, but also some rock work for them to hide during the day as they are nocturnal by nature.
